Go2Group Solutions - TaP Plugin

Serena TeamTrack integration with Perforce SCM

Go2Group’s TeamTrack add-on for Perforce (TaP) Plugin provides a mechanism to view the information in a Perforce change-list within Serena’s TeamTrack user interface. This is implemented through a feature within Perforce called ‘Jobs’, which is a customer
configurable data structure that can be attached to a change-list at check-in time.

The TaP Plugin is configurable, i.e., the exact fields to be stored in Perforce (as
communicated from TeamTrack) are configurable by the installer. Also, the TeamTrack database update frequency can be configured during the TaP Plugin installation process.

The Go2Group TaP Plugin is available today and is currently available for use with Serena TeamTrack v6.6 and Perforce SCM 2004.  For integration between Serena's Business Mashup Solution and Perforce, see our Go2Group Mashups.
