Job Description

The Java Consultant will be in front of Go2Group clients, working onsite or/and remotely as dictated by client requirements on projects related to:

• Atlassian JIRA
• Atlassian Confluence
• Subversion
• Other projects include internal product development and support

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
• An understanding of the following broad technologies: XML, XSL, JSP, Velocity, Java i18n, PDF, internet protocols, JDBC and relational databases
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows in a development environment
• Basic database skills
• Strong familiarity with Perforce and Subversion (SVN)
• Perforce/SVN Admin experience is highly desirable or other SCM tools such as ClearCase, CVS, StarTeam, etc.
• Ability to program in PERL, shell, and batch
• MUST have decent English reading, writing, and speaking skills
• Ability to work well with clients, developers, QA engineers and non-engineering personnel
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written

Required Experience

• Experience in software engineering, build & release engineering and/or configuration management is a plus
• Excellent consulting skills and attitude is a must
• Experience with Borland Silk or HP Quality Center
• Experience with RequisitePro, Caliber, DOORs
• Experience with ANT, NANT, Maven, CruiseControl or BAMBOO
• Experience with issue tracking tools such as ClearQuest, Bugzilla, JIRA, TeamTrack, etc.
• Experience developing plugins is a plus
• B.S. in C.S./E.E. or related field
