Atlassian recently organized a workshop and event — known as the Atlassian ITSM Mastery — which engages partners, customers, and companies to talk about recent trends and learn from each other. Go2Group, an Atlassian Platinum and Enterprise Solution Partner, participated in this two-day workshop on February 19-20 in San Francisco.
The workshop was filled with insightful sales practices and Atlassian product updates (updates on Opsgenie, the modern incident management platform for operating always-on services, empowering Dev and Ops teams to plan for service disruptions, acquired by Atlassian in September 2018), and culminated in sweat-inducing presentations.
Go2Group, like other partners, were part of a small team that worked together and came up with value-based presentations individually. Sandip Patel (Vice President of Products and Services Sales), Hal Prather (Sr Consultant), and I (Sales Representative) from Go2Group attended the workshop. It was a helpful practice and certainly encouraged our skills of teamwork and public speaking.
The Go2Group team caught up prior to the workshop to discuss some strategic sales plans through an happy hour and a fun dinner at a lobster restaurant. The whole Atlassian engagement ended in a lovely dinner on February 20 with all of the attendees and Atlassian presenters at a wonderful Indian restaurant. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed getting to know our peers and colleagues that much better.
