Software testing is an important component in software development. It is difficult to efficiently develop new software without effective testing. Jira – one of the most popular tools for agile product development – helps development teams easily manage requirements, bugs, and tasks. We at Go2Group are frequently monitoring articles related to agile, DevOps, and new tools that make software development teams more effective. I was pleased to find an article in Software Testing Magazine, published on January 10, 2017, that discusses test management using Jira. This excellent article outlines the necessary steps for developing and implementing a test case management system. The article provides eleven important factors that should be implemented for Jira-based test case management. The article discusses a set of requirements for efficient test case management in Jira. The author – Vladimir Belorusets, Ph.D., of Bluescape – stated what many of our customers already know: synapseRT is a preferred add-on for development and testing using Jira.
